Where apps break on the Redmi Note 11
Battery saver and Autostart
MIUI and HyperOS can stop apps in the background when Battery saver is on or Autostart is off for your app. Lock the phone for half an hour, then check that push notifications, OTP auto-read and uploads still work, and repeat with Autostart turned off.
4 GB of RAM
On the 4 GB model the system closes background apps sooner. In the middle of a flow, switch to the camera or another app (a UPI app, if you take payments) and come back: the screen and anything typed should still be there.
Fingerprint login
Check the biometric prompt, a failed scan and the fall back to PIN or MPIN, and what happens after a new fingerprint is added in Settings.
4G only
There's no 5G here. Test on a crowded 4G network, and on a weak signal in a lift or basement, where Airtel and Vi SIMs can drop to 2G.
Launched with Android 11
If the tester hasn't updated past Android 11, apps get notifications without the Android 13 permission prompt, and photo picking uses the older storage permission. Check both paths.
